Vintage can be rustic. It can also be kitschy. Sometimes it is country, and sometimes it is elegant. Vintage can be classic, and it can even be modern. But vintage is always unique.

Nostalgia Rentals is dedicated to helping you translate your unique personality and ideas into a one-of-a-kind event. Our vintage décor and furniture items add character and whimsy to weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, reunions, photo shoots… if you can dream it, we can decorate it!

Our aim is to make adding vintage elements to your event affordable and easy. Hunting for the perfect vintage touches at antique stores, garage sales, and flea markets can be time consuming and expensive. We have a vast inventory of rental items readily available for you (at a fraction of what purchasing these items would cost). If you have your heart set on an item that we do not have listed in our inventory, please let us know. Our stockpile of goodies is always growing and we have the connections and resources to do a custom search for you.

Liz & Matt's Barn Wedding

Here is another wedding I provided rentals for this summer. LOVED this one! Matt & Liz chose Scottlyn Yards in Blair as the venue for both their ceremony and reception. It turned out so beautifully! A Busy Summer & Sara and Scott's Wedding

The past couple of months have been a blur! We're all moved into the new showroom/office and have been super busy... there's been a wedding or event pretty much every week since the beginning of June. I've been pretty good about keeping Facebook updated (if you haven't already, go "like" Nostalgia Rentals here), but I have REALLY neglected the blog. I plan to play catch up and post some pictures of this summer's events over the next couple of weeks.

Let's start with Sara and Scott's backyard wedding in Omaha in early June. Candace from Lovestru.ck styled the event, and it was a perfect fit for the couple... laid back and intimate with a little bit of a French bistro feel. She used a lot of Nostalgia's items  -- two full pickup loads!.  Take a peek (fabulous photos by The Mullers).

BIG News!!!

Big news.... Nostalgia Rentals is going to be moving to a new showroom (a showroom that's not my house)!  Just signed a lease this week for a shop at 4220 S 33rd Street, Suite C (Lincoln, Nebraska).  

Not quite sure when we will be ready to open yet, but probably early June.  I'm also very excited to be sharing the space with two very talented ladies -- Candace Kalasky of Lovestru.ck Social Events and Megan Pomeroy of Megan Christine Photography.  It's going to be fun, girls!

I've been pinning constantly, thinking about the space.  I will have several vignettes showcasing my items in different wedding themes.  There will be space in the back for crafting -- I know my husband is excited that I will have a place to work on brooch bouquets besides our dining room table.  Hopefully, it will all turn out looking something like this:

A Bridal Fair Unlike Any Other

Time for the big reveal! Mark your calendars -- Nostalgia Rentals is going to be a part of The Lovestruck Event on September 30 in Omaha. The Lovestruck Event is going to be a bridal fair unlike any other... you won't be herded through a maze of vendors sitting behind folding tables draped with polyester tablecloths. You will be able to interact with vendors who want to collaborate with you to make your wedding creative, modern, and memorable. Much more information is available on the Lovestruck Event's website, which went live this morning. Lovestruck.

I can't say too much at the moment, but I am super excited about an upcoming event that Megan Hunt (Princess Lasertron), Lesley Peterson (Inclosed Studio), and Candace Kalasky (Lovestruck Social Events) have been putting together.
